Not recommended as a running entry shoe. The Forge 96 LEATHER Reissue is a retro-styled urban casual shoe inspired by the classic 1996 silhouette, not designed for running training. Its one-piece EVA midsole provides basic everyday cushioning, and the low 15/20mm stack suits walking and light activity, but it lacks the cushioning and support running requires. If you want to start running, choose a dedicated running series (such as the Charged line). If you want a stylish, everyday-wearable lifestyle shoe, the Forge 96 fits very well.

One-piece EVA foam midsole (lightweight cushioning)
The UA Forge 96 LEATHER Reissue is a retro-styled urban casual shoe inspired by the classic 1996 silhouette and reinterpreted with modern materials. Its midsole uses a one-piece EVA foam construction for lightweight, soft cushioning, with a low 15/20mm stack and 5mm drop giving a ground-close casual setup suited to everyday walking and light activity. The upper combines mesh, nubuck leather and a TPU abrasion-resistant coating for breathability, texture and durability — the shoe's most distinctive visual feature. The full-length rubber outsole provides good grip and abrasion resistance. At around 375g it is a normal weight for a casual shoe. Positioned for urban casual styling and daily commuting rather than running training, it is not recommended for long-distance running or high-intensity workouts. If you want a stylish, everyday-wearable lifestyle shoe, the Forge 96 fits well; for serious running, choose a dedicated running series instead.
