The Altra Vanish Carbon 3 (August 2026) is Altra's first true carbon super racing shoe, breaking from the past zero-drop tradition to a 4mm drop, combining Pure PEBA supercritical foam with a distinctive split-toe carbon plate for a new racing experience for performance-chasing advanced runners. The Pure PEBA supercritical midsole with the split-toe carbon plate lets the big toe and lateral forefoot push independently, and with an aggressive rocker geometry delivers strong propulsion and high energy return while keeping Altra's wide foot-shaped fit. A 36mm forefoot / 40mm heel stack with a low 4mm drop is a racing setup. The lightweight racing knit upper fits snugly with a roomy forefoot. The lightweight durable rubber outsole ensures racing grip. At about 218g and NT$7,600, it's Altra's first true carbon racer for advanced runners chasing PBs.
