New Balance FuelCell Rebel 6

Beginner

The Rebel 6 is a lightweight speed trainer (approx. 220g / 7.8oz) built with FuelCell foam for a firm yet responsive ride. The 27mm forefoot / 33mm heel stack (6mm drop) offers moderate cushioning without a carbon plate, keeping the footfeel natural and flexible. This shoe lacks structured support or maximum cushion, making it best suited for runners with a consistent running base of 30km+ per week. For absolute beginners, the lower stability and firmer ground feel require some adaptation. However, if you can already run 5km comfortably and want to add interval or tempo sessions, the Rebel 6 lightweight build can genuinely help lift your pace. Priced at around $130 / NT$4,280, it delivers excellent value for building speed-work habits without breaking the bank.
