The Wan Jin Shi Marathon is one of Taiwan's most internationally recognised marathons, organised by the New Taipei City Government and held every March along the North Coast in the Wanli, Jinshan and Shimen districts.
The course follows the Northern Coastal Highway, with the open Pacific on one side and the mountain-meets-sea terrain of the north coast on the other. The route rolls gently, and aid stations and traffic control are rated among the best in Taiwanese racing.
